Consular Services and Information

Please note that visas are not issued at the consulate!
Hungarian citizens can obtain a visa for entry to Jordan at border crossing points (Amman airport, Aqaba airport, land border crossings) or online
eservices.moi.gov.jo.
Non-Hungarian citizens can also apply for a visa online or are kindly requested to contact the Jordanian Embassy in Vienna: https://www.mfa.gov.jo/en/embassy/Vienna

The consulate provides the following services:

Authentication of Documents

Authentication of documents in Hungarian, English, and Arabic. This includes diplomas and related documents. The consulate can only authenticate original diplomas and their original accompanying documents, only in pairs where the name of the diploma (Degree Certificate) holder appears. The consulate also authenticates commercial invoices and certificates of origin for companies. Authentication fees can only be accepted in cash (HUF). * The consulate can only authenticate a power of attorney if it has been officially stamped by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, or please contact the Jordanian Embassy in Vienna:
